You can find them if you open the event viewer and sort by Source. Look for “Wininit” and it should have the logs/results of the chkdsk. Older operating systems such as Windows XP may have this information under “Winlogon” instead of “Wininit”

You can edit web.config through IIS instead of manually using notepad. If you haven’t had to do that yet, be glad but now you’ll know where it is.
