- Open Server Manager.
- Start button then Control Panel
- Programs and Features then Turn Windows features on or off which is located to the left on the window.
- This will get you to the Server Manager. Make sure to high light the node Server manager this should be the root. The Server Manager shown below. This is where you will click on Configure IE ESC (Enhanced Security Configuration) located at the right to disable the enhanced security.
- You will get a prompt to disable this security for administrators and users as seen below. Click disable and in my case I just disabled it for Administrators for the time being. After I was done using the explorer I put this back to its original settings.
