Outlook 2010 Won’t Open Links From Inbox

When you click a link from any email it says “this operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.”

1. Reset IE completely. Didn’t solve it.
2. Export a working IE machine’s registry key and import to the nonworking one. Attached is mine from Windows 7 Pro. Didn’t solve it.
3. Go deep into the registry to choose how .html files open.
   1. Locate, and then click the following registry subkey: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \.html
   2. Make sure that the value of the String (Default) is “htmlfile”. If it’s not “htmlfile”, right-click (Default), click Modify, input htmlfile in the Value data box, and then click OK.
