ESJobTrack – “not a valid user” Error in JobBoss

If there is ever an issue that you get an error after installing ESJobTrack that says “not a valid user”.

 

Locate C:\Company\ESJobTrack\pgmfiles

 

In the picture below there are two files that are going to need to be changed that are marked with a blue dot. PEOPLE.DTA and LogonXref.dta. these files have a certain format in text so when adding a user please follow them and make sure to use the correct log on name for LogonXref.dta. please look at the last two pictures to see the formatting.
